Women’s film festival

The 19th Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival takes place Nov. 3 through Nov. 5 at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and Armstrong Hall at Colorado College. The Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival is the longest continuously running women’s film festival in the world, and its success can be attributed to strong community support and outstanding films. This year’s selections promise to the same.A gala celebration will open the festival at the Fine Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3. Films’ screenings resume at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. Attending filmmakers will present a Filmmakers Forum during lunch on both days.The three-day festival tickets are $95; tickets for the Friday gala are $40; a one-day ticket is $35. Senior, student and military discounts are available.
