People on the move

Steve Webb has been a familiar face to Farmer Jim’s customers. Webb began working part-time for Shannon and Ammie Vincent in 2001. He recently flew the coop to find more time for NASCAR and his Harley Davidson. Before joining the crew at Farmer Jim’s, Webb, a Colorado Springs native who graduated from Harrison High School, worked at a body shop, as a ranch hand on a cattle ranch and as a street striper for the El Paso County Department of Transportation. In 1987, Webb switched gears and went to work for Hewlett Packard platting circuit boards for computers. About 18 months later, HP shut down the division. In 1999, following in his father’s footsteps – his dad worked for People’s Natural Gas for 40 years – Webb began working as a construction maintenance specialist for gas and electric for Colorado Springs Utilities. He moved to Falcon in 2001 and eventually began supplementing his income as a part-time customer service person for Farmer Jim’s.In 2005, an on-the-job back injury ended his six-year career with CSU, and he began working full time for Farmer Jim’s. Good luck, Steve.
