Travis Ewing, Cody Solberg, Remington Soulia, Jake Richardson and Matt Dougherty – all of Falcon – participated in the Triple Crown summer baseball tournament. The Falcon players and teammates Ross Yeager, Dexter Price, Jared Brown, Matt Moore, Josh Hammill, Trevor Wynn and Cody Fager batted their way to victory in two legs of the Triple Crown.In Longmont, Colo., on Aug. 26 and Aug 27, the team won the first leg of the Triple Crown in four games, giving up only six runs. In Loveland, Colo., on Sept 9 and Sept 10, the team won the second leg of the Triple Crown in four games, giving up only two runs. The last leg of the Triple Crown is in Florida but the team was unable to travel out of state.El Paso Drywall sponsored the team, and Jim Solberg, Ryne Solber, Jay Soulia and Frank Moore coached the winning team.
