Cheerleading

The cheerleading squad has committed their time and effort to perfecting and creating cheers and performances for volleyball and football games. The state squad has been busy stepping up its game and preparing for the state competition on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2. “We have a really good shot this year at getting in the top six, and in order to do that, we have to work hard on more difficult stunts and tumbling,” said Jessica Frie, cheerleading head coach. The cheerleaders also sponsored a carwash at the Farmer’s State Bank. All three cheerleading squads hosted the 24th Annual Spirit Clinic, a program for elementary and middle school students who wanted to learn cheerleading and dance. The clinic participants performed during halftime at the football game against Harrison High School Sept. 22.
