Front Range Equine clinic/program

Front Range Equine Rescue is hosting a general horsemanship clinic with Julie Goodnight on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 at Prairie Springs Farm (7445 Templeton Gap Road). Julie has been an equine educator for more than 25 years and travels the world to share her gentle horsemanship techniques. The clinic will cover balance, rhythm and communication with your horse as well as improving your position using the natural aids more effectively for better communication, control, and enhanced performance. There is a 15 rider limit; the clinic runs from 9 am. to 4 p.m. each day. Spectators are welcome at $35 per day, which includes lunch and snacks. Responsible horse owners who turn their stud colts or stallions into geldings can receive a partial reimbursement for the surgical expense. Send an itemized copy of the vet bill to FRER, P.O. Box 307, Larkspur, CO 80118. Limit of four horses per owner; reimbursement based on funding availability and actual cost of surgery.
