It’s a donkey clinic – a fundraising event for The Longhopes Donkey Shelter.Join the festivities Saturday, Sept. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Longhopes Donkey Shelter in Bennett, Colo. Learn more about donkeys through driving and packing lessons and information on donkey body language. Join in or just observe the donkey obstacle course, a pole bending competition and a keyhole game. Enjoy the musical donkeys and much more.There is a $40 cost per donkey participation (parking and trailer parking provided) and a $25 fee for observing the activities. The costs include lunch, snacks, refreshments and prizes.No intact jacks!
