Annexing?It’s just a rumor, but the NFH heard that the city of Colorado Springs is considering annexing Cimarron Hills (which is now in unincorporated El Paso County but sits west of Falcon). The commercial growth potential in the area is attractive and key to the city’s interest.Development on hold?The NFH also heard a rumor that the Sante Fe Development is on hold because contractors bailed out, and there are concerns about water.New sewer lines have residents baffledSewer lines are being installed around the Coral Ranch Development area, east of Blaney Road, starting from Garrett. Residents of the area have not been told of the intentions for the sewer lines. The NFH will check on it next month.
