It’s time for the Elizabeth Celtic Festival! Gates open at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, July 16, in the beautiful Casey Jones Park. Enjoy two days of fun, food, music and drink. Admission at the door is $10 for adults (ages 18 to 64); $5 for seniors (65+); $5 for teens (age 13-17); and children 12 and under get in FREE! Advance discount tickets are available at the Safeway stores in Elizabeth, Parker and Castle Rock.The music tent will feature a host of bands and musicians, including Skean Dubh, Gobs o’ Phun and Wilson & McKee. The Children’s Glen will be run by the Running Creek Elementary PTCO to benefit their playground renewal program. Artisans and crafters of all sorts will be showcasing their wares. Scottish Athletic demonstrations & Renaissance Scots with Castle Wall Productions will entertain as well.There is still room for vendors and artisans.
