The El Paso County Demolition Derby will be held the last day of the county fair, July 29, at 6 p.m. The purse is $8,000, and there are four catgories: welded class, limited welded class, compact class and chained class. Car numbers are on a first-come, first-serve basis so get your registrations in early for that lucky number. Drivers must be at least 18 years old.For spectators, advance ticket prices are $16 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for youth (3 years – 12 years). The prices include general gate admission and can be purchased at the following establishments: El Paso County Fairgrounds in Calhan, El Paso County Parks Bear Creek Office, Western Warehouse and Lorig’s.
