Falcon School District 49 Board of Directors vacancy application packets are available from Claudia Gatti, administrative assistant, in the superintendent’s office at 10850 E. Woodmen Road. Interested candidates must complete an application packet that consists of a letter of interest, resume, affidavit of school director candidate on qualifications for office and list of three references. These application packets must be received in the office of the superintendent by July 31 at 4 p.m.The board will interview prospective candidates at a public meeting on Aug. 3 and/or Aug. 16. The remaining four members of the board will accept applications and appoint a new member at a public meeting on Aug. 16. To be eligible for appointment, candidates must have lived in the Falcon School District 49 for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the appointment and be an eligible voter.
